Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV need YOU!
Our volunteers help us in serving nearly 16,783 youth each year. Volunteers lend their expertise in programming, administrative and general support. BE a mentor at Boys & Girls Clubs
Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV welcomes and appreciates those in the community who want to support our efforts through volunteering.
We strongly believe in the valuable role that volunteers play in transforming the lives of our members. As little as one hour per week is all it takes to have a positive impact on a child’s life. Every Club offers volunteer opportunities for adults to work directly with youth as mentors and tutors, and by providing career guidance, internships and college preparation support. We also welcome corporations seeking one day, project-based volunteer opportunities.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV is very serious about our responsibility for the youth in our care. We are proud of our excellent reputation as a safe haven for youth. Therefore, all volunteers must undergo a thorough screening process that includes:
- Volunteer Application
- Drug Testing
- Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI)
- Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI)
- National CORI
- Local Police Record Check
- Volunteers must be ages 18 or older
